Course Description
The Physical Assessment for Basic Recruit Academy 2026-56 will be on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 0800 hours promptly, at NILEA. Registered prospective recruits will report to NILEA, 4500 Montdale Drive, Valparaiso, IN 46383. A short training on the specific testing protocol will precede the assessment.
Those successfully passing the entry Physical Assessment will report for Basic Recruit training classes commencing on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 0800 hours.

Prospective recruits will report wearing conservative athletic apparel, including running shoes, socks, athletic shorts, pants, and sweatshirt.
